New Toy Tuesday is back! And, if you've perused my other posts there are a few 'toy' brands that I really like! RØDE and Manfrotto are brands that I have invested in, and I couldn't be happier with the products. Lately, I've been in the market for a new set of tripod legs.
I did a lot of research on how I could fix this. I tried attaching the slider to my Pearstone VT2500B tripod with the head on, head off, with a couple of different kinds of bolts. I was told I needed a ballsh (also made by Manfrotto) to go into the top of the tripod - the problem was that the ballsh's that I found didn't fit into the Pearstone tripod I have... So, I had to explore other options.
There are a few things I really like about the 055XProB. Other than being really sturdy, one feature I really like about these sticks is that it can lay flat on the ground (bottom left picture above). With this I can get some ground level shots - made even easier with my Manfrotto 496RC2 Ball-Head.
As you can see, after I attached the slider to the Manfrotto Tripod legs, the wiggle was removed! I am stoked to own these, and cannot wait for my wedding this weekend to really see what they can do!
